By accessing or using NullifyCV at nullifycv.com ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service is operated by NullifyCV, based in the Netherlands ("we", "us", "our").
NullifyCV is a browser-based tool that removes personally identifiable information (PII) from CV and resume files for blind hiring and privacy compliance purposes. All file processing occurs locally in your browser — no files are transmitted to NullifyCV or any third party.
The Service is provided on a freemium basis. A free tier is available without registration. Paid plans unlock additional features as described on the pricing page.
You may use the Service for any lawful purpose. You agree not to:
You retain full ownership of any files you process through the Service. Because all processing occurs client-side in your browser, NullifyCV does not receive, access, store, or process your files. We have no rights over your content and no ability to access it.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to process any CV or personal data you submit to the tool, including compliance with applicable data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) in your jurisdiction.
Paid plans are processed by Stripe. By purchasing a paid plan, you agree to Stripe's terms of service. All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated. Tax may be added at checkout depending on your location.
The Week Pass is a one-time, non-recurring payment. It does not auto-renew. Access is granted for the stated duration (7 days) and is stored locally in your browser.
Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time through the Stripe customer portal — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Team and Enterprise arrangements are billed according to the terms agreed in writing with each customer.
Because access is granted immediately upon payment and stored locally in your browser, we do not offer refunds for one-time passes once issued. For subscriptions, if you experience a technical issue that prevents you from using the Service, contact us at support@nullifycv.com within 7 days of purchase and we will consider a refund on a case-by-case basis.
We reserve the right to change pricing at any time. Existing subscribers will be given 30 days notice before any price increase takes effect.
The NullifyCV source code is open source and licensed under the MIT License. You are free to view, fork, and use the code in accordance with the MIT License terms.
The NullifyCV name, logo, and brand elements are not covered by the MIT License and may not be used without permission.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:
The audit log and compliance references in the Service are informational tools — they do not constitute legal advice or certification of compliance. Consult your DPO or legal counsel for formal compliance assessments.
To the maximum extent permitted by Dutch law, NullifyCV shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to data loss, compliance failures, or business losses.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Netherlands.
If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you may also have rights under the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will indicate the date of the last update at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
